SADC Water Sector ICP Collaboration Portal
The SADC Water Sector, with the assistance of Germany through GIZ, has set in motion a confluence of information flow, to support the coordination of present and future joint water projects and initiatives and efforts to create streamlined, transparent communication and cooperation between SADC member states and their 'International Cooperating Partners' (ICPs).
This web-based platform has been developed to encourage knowledge-sharing and networking amongst the ICP’s. It is hoped that channeling collective information into a common pool of knowledge and open dialogue will open the flood gates to a future of collaboration and confluence for the SADC region.

Improvement and Sustainable Management of Neiafu, Vava’u’s Groundwater Resource 20 th May 2013: Tonga’s GEF Pacific IWRM Demonstration Project entitled “Improvement and Sustainable Management of Neiafu, Vava’u’s Groundwater Resource” has strengthened arrangements for improved watershed management and community engagement. The project is also successfully testing various measures to reduce stress on the Neiafu aquifer.
