Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) aims to contribute to the
promotion of international cooperation as well as the sound development of
Japanese and global economy by supporting the socioeconomic development,
recovery or economic stability of developing regions. JICA provides bilateral
aid in the form of technical cooperation, Japanese Official Development
Assistance Loan and grant aid. JICA strives for "Inclusive development", an
approach to development that encourages all people to recognize the
development issues they themselves face, participate in addressing them, and
enjoy the fruits of such endeavors.
